Welcome to the website of the Tag & Label Manufacturers Institute (TLMI). For more than a decade www.tlmi.com has been a resource for both the association’s membership, and for the industry as a whole. Here you will find detailed information about the wide range of services TLMI offers its member companies, in addition to a comprehensive and searchable listing of all TLMI members.
One of the most important features the website offers the association’s converter and supplier members is the TLMI Members Only area. In this section our members can download TLMI reports and publications including the Green Guide, materials for TLMI’s Project L.I.F.E. certification and archives of presentations given at TLMI meetings and the TLMI Technical Conference. This section now also offers published technical white papers submitted by our supplier members. We know how important it is for converters and suppliers to have technical resources and reference guides at their fingertips at all times, and the Board of Directors’ goal is to ensure the TLMI website delivers the products and services our membership requires.
2010 finds the narrow web industry at an important crossroads. With the worst of the global financial crisis behind us, narrow web printers and converters still face an uncertain future. In addition to the economic challenges of the recent past, companies in our industry have also weathered the impact of raw material price fluctuations, profit erosion and heightening quality and service demands from our customers.
TLMI has been meeting the needs of the association’s converter and supplier members for more than 75 years, continuously positioning itself as an industry resource both for our members, and for the greater North American narrow web industry. The association continues to play a central role in the market; bringing suppliers and converters together to network, educate and learn while diligently moving the industry forward as a member-driven collective.
