Daniel J. O'Connell, President of UPM-Raflatac, Inc.
Dan O’Connell, President of UPM Raflatac, has been named 2007 TLMI Supplier of the Year.
Presented on an annual basis, the Supplier of the Year Award honors and recognizes an individual for their ongoing volunteer service and dedication to TLMI, and to the industry. Criteria for winning the award includes service to TLMI on the association’s board and committees, in addition to continuous commitment to the industry as a whole by helping to promote and foster its growth.
O’Connell has been in the narrow web labeling industry for more than 25 years, joining UPM Raflatac in 1992. Pat Hague, a senior supplier Board member, comments, "It's an honor to present the 2007 Supplier of the Year Award to Dan O'Connell. He has served on the board of directors for TLMI and over the years has been an active TLMI committee member. He continues to be one of the association’s greatest advocates and has been asked to co-chair the association’s 75th anniversary Annual Meeting next October in Florida. On behalf of TLMI, I would like to say congratulations to Dan for receiving this prestigious, and well-deserved, honor.”
